Harrysong Apologises To Fans For Kissing Uche Ogbodo

Harrysong sent in this piece of press statement to clear the air on the scandal rocking his kiss wit Uche Ogbodo. read the excerpt below:
I am forced to speak on the picture of myself and actress Uche Ogbodo being circulated around the web following queries from fans and well wishers. I was going to let it play like any other joke but I was stunned when a fan recently – should I say excited fan – attacked me verbally on a radio station where I dropped by to talk about being a part of 2face’s Campus connect tour.

First, Uche Ogbodo is a very dear friend but we are not dating. She’s more of a sister to me and not a lover. I believe a peck doesn’t necessarily translate to an affair but I could be wrong.
Maybe it is not common amongst my colleagues to own up during an affair but I can assure you that we are not an item. In all modesty, Writing hit songs for my colleagues like ‘Limpopo’ by KCee and Omotola Ekeinde, recording my own songs (working on a new single), still promoting my new video for ‘I’m in love’ remix with Olamide as well readying another video possibly for my track with Timaya would be a lot to combine with a relationship, at this point.
So what happened?
The picture was taken on my birthday which took place at Elegushi beach late at night hence it was not complimentary (on a lighter note, I am quite a good looking man so is Uche, very good looking lady! that picture didn’t do us justice) We were partying which should explain the circumstance the picture was taken.

Threesomes also don’t happen at parties, a mutual friend watched on as She planted a ‘peck’ (quick kiss) on my lips and we giggled afterwards.
Please see it as the lighthearted activity that it was and nothing more.

My apologies to only fans who found it less pleasing and thank you for all the support.

Unto matta,
Harrysong

Actresses Anita Joseph and Oyinye Fights in public over Boyfriend Snatching

Actress Anita Joseph has stirred the hornets nest with her latest love interest..... 22yr old Anambra born Odinaka Onigwe who is her friends boyfriend. Odinaka was the boyfriend of up-and-coming Actress, Oyinye Obodoechina and things were fine between them even though Oyinye was thrown out of a set for flaunting her relationship with the young boy.

According to eye witness reports the producer of the movie where this fight occurred is Jospeh Okafor and he had a bitter fight on set with Anita and Odinaka...

''It started in Awka eight weeks ago when Oyinye that Anita had taken over her relationship with Odinaka
Joseph Okafor was introduced to Odinaka to start acting and earn a living and Oyinye and Odinaka met on one of Josephs set and though Joseph frowned at their dating,it didn't stop them and they turned a blind eye to his warnings and Joseph threw both of them out of his movie because of their relationship.

Joseph began complaining to Anita on another set concerning Odinaka and Oyinye,Anita set her eyes on Odinaka, fell in love with him and the rest is history...Odinaka and Anita started dating behind Oyinye's back but the cat was innocently let out of the bag one night......

Joseph Okafor saw the lady he paired Anita with in a room around 11pm outside and asked her what she was doing outside so late, the angry waka oass Actress told Joseph that Anita was busy with a guy in the room so she had to excuse them..

The producer rushed up to the room but Anita was already at the front door planning a decoy so that Odinaka could sneak out but the producer knocked on the back door and Odinaka who was in boxer shorts opened it and as soon as he saw Joseph he ran into the toilet and locked the door.

Anita came in and saw Joesph and a big fight ensued,Joseph exploded wanting to know why she would bring a man into the room he paid for her and another Actress,.he was pained that it was the same boy he was complaining to Anita about that she had turned around and started sleeping with.

Anita called some Actors on set to intervene but the producer refused stating it was unprofessional.Odinaka sensing trouble from inside the locked toilet quickly called his cousin and they called the cult boys.

Joseph heard Odinaka placing the call and also quickly called his Mopol friends and they came to the hotel
The cult guys and the Mopol had a bloody fight and even the hotel receptionist was badly beaten and had to be rushed to the hospital...The fight ended very bloody.
The producer later called Oyinye and told her that Anita had taken over her boyfriend and that he caught the boy in Anita's room.
Oyinye now set out to try and wrestle Anita.she and her friends ambushed Anita at new haven in Enugu and the fight was bloody.

Oyinye's friends have been sending stinker messages to Anita on the blackberry and all her social network handle but Anita appears too deep in love to care or give a hoot
Last two weeks Anita celebrated Odinaka's birthday in Enugu at Davis suite in New haven
The party was big and had all of his friends there, however Odinaka was so badly stoned he had to be rushed to the Hospital because he lost control of himself.
Lovergirl Anita goes every where with Odinaka,in the east when she is shooting movies, she lodges him in a hotel near where she shoots,in Lagos when he visits, she lodges him in a hotel near her house.
I called Oyinye to find out if indeed anything of such happened between her and Anita.I asked her why she is married and running after a small boy and her response is

''Yes Anita snatched my boyfriend but i dash am,I no want again, she can have him.I was married but I am a widow with three kids.I didn't fight with Anita though because its not necessary to do so.I am done with him though, she can have my left over.

I asked her why such a young boy and her response is

''He is 22yrs old,I agree he is young but we started dating when I tried to assist him because he needed help, one thing led to another and we began dating .he smokes weed and has a bad attitude and i was trying to set him on the right path but he felt I was too controlling and probably Anita is his kind of woman.Relationship is not about age,Odinaka is 22yrs but he does things older than his age,age is just a number. As for Anita,we are not in the same class so why should I drag a man with her, shes below me.I have three kids and I am more beautiful than her;I have everything she doesn't have so why should I waste my precious time fighting her?for what? The boy is greedy and I wont fight because of a greedy boy who doesn't know what he wants, hes with Anita now but hes been trying to get back with me ,hes a gold digger so Anita can have him since she wants him so badly.I am done with them both''

I contacted Anita to get her side of the story and she told me plainly''I don't know what you are talking about,i didn't snatch anybodys boyfriend.I dont have anything to do with him,he is just my friend''

I contacted producer Joseph Okafor and he confirmed the story saying ''Yes it happened and I don't want something like this happening on my set again because it brings bad luck''

Turai And Patience Jonathan Fights over Land - Turai wins

Turai Yar’Adua and Dame Patience Jonathan
ABUJA — The  cold war between two Nigerian “first-ladies”, Dame Patience Goodluck Jonathan and wife of late President Umar Musa Yar’Adua, Turai, over a juicy plot of land in the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Abuja, reached its feverish heights Thursday.
Their uncanny rivalry, which has exposed the country to public ridicule within the international circles, deepened  after an Abuja High Court, presided over by Justice Peter Affen, declared that the disputed land where the incumbent “first-lady”, Patience, recently hosted her counterparts from other African countries, belonged to Turai Yar’Adua.

In his judgment, Justice Affen maintained that the Minister of FCT, Senator Bala Mohammed, acted illegally when he revoked the Certificate of Occupancy for the land originally allocated to a Non-Governmental Organization, NGO, “The Registered Trustee of Women and Youth Empowerment Foundation, WYEF”, a pet project initiated by Turai, and re-awarded it to Patience Jonathan for the construction of a secretariat of the “First Ladies Peace Mission.”
According to the judge, “the said plot No. 1347 Cadastral Zone AOO, Central Business District, Abuja, was originally allocated to the plaintiff (WYEF) for the building of a public institution, a vocational training center, in-line with the provision of section 28(1) of the Land Use Act.
“The vocational center is for public purpose and the title deed of the disputed land cannot just be revoked on the premise of over-riding public interest.
“Public interest is not limited to the purpose of government alone, the purported revocation stands precariously, if at all it stands.
“Any revocation in the exercise of the power of the Minister under the Land Use Act must be within the confine or tenets of section 28(1) of the Act. More so, the defendant woefully failed to adduce evidence to support its claims of overriding public interest.
“Consequently, I uphold the submissions of the plaintiffs counsel and declare that the said revocation was done in bad-faith and is hereby nullified,” the judge added.
Reacting through her lawyer, Mrs Ima Okpongete , Mrs. Jonathan, contended that the presiding judge erred in law by returning the land to the former first lady, contrary to overriding public interest.
She said: “We are not satisfied with this judgment and we are going to appeal against it immediately.”
It will be recalled that in a bid to save the country from embarrassment over the lingering land dispute,  Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Mohammed Bello Adoke, SAN, earlier begged the court to allow him broker an out-of-court settlement deal for the warring “first-ladies”.

AMMA PLANE SAGA: Chioma Akpotha vs Vanguard's Yemisi! Ay Comedian Writes To Defend Chioma

Apparently Vanguard's reporter Yemisi Suleiman, Chioma Akpotha and Comedian AY were all on the same flight back to Lagos where they went to attend AMMA Awards. Yemisi and Chioma got into a fight. Today Vanguard published their own side of the story, but Comedian Ay is saying the story is quite different. Read both stories after the cut.
Vanguard Writes...
Like most Nollywood stars, Chioma Chukwuka-Akpotha is not given to pretence. She’s always ready to vibrate and return fire-for-fire.
Last Sunday evening was not different. Following the frustration and exhaustion that greeted everyone after the AMAA awards and the endless wait at the Port-Harcourt International Airport, Chioma boarded the evening flight back to Lagos, however something happened!
Vanguard reports that a quarrel ensued between Chioma and a Lagos based female journalist, Yemisi Suleiman (who was trying to interview her), which caused the actress to loose her temper in a manner that attracted the attention of everyone on board.
Chioma claimed that the journalist was rude to her, adding that most painfully, she “called me Igbo bitch and all that’. I wouldn’t blame her because AMAA brought us together. I can conveniently pay her salary,” she fumed.
A colleague of mine just said and I quote "I think Chioma needs to work on her anger issues especially in public...you will recall that she was the same person that disgraced herself even with fellow stars at the Gulder ultimate search for celebrities a few years back."
AY Writes...
Recalling what happened between Chioma Akpotha and Yemisi (The Vanguard reporter) on the AMAA flight from Port Harcourt, one would have expected a cultured woman to be contrite and apologize forthwith, since everybody is error-prone. I crave your indulgence to say this not because the former is a movie star and the latter a journalist. More so, I dread not to raise my voice for the truth and my compassion against injustice.
It was quite unfortunate to read a report from today’s Vanguard Online in favour of Yemisi (their staff), as against Chioma Akpotha who was publicly insulted alongside every Igbo speaking individual on that flight, by Yemisi. Besides, if some of us do have the franchise to suffer disharmony with our personal values, I still want to believe that in reporting a case, Professional Journalism should keep it quite professional by not identifying with any side in an issue of this manner. But this is obviously not the case of the Vanguard reporter who wrote the story between Chioma Akpotha and Yemisi. The reporter in question has proven to me that fiction can sometimes make a better job of the truth and an exaggerated relativism.
How could you in every sense of professionalism start a story involving your fellow reporter and Chioma Akpotha by saying “Like most Nollywood stars, Chioma Chukwuka-Akpotha is not given to pretence. She’s always ready to vibrate and return fire-for-fire. Last Sunday evening was not different. Smarting from the frustration and exhaustion that greeted everyone after the AMAA awards and the endless wait at the Port-Harcourt International Airport, Chioma boarded the evening flight back to Lagos, determined to cause another stir on board”.
Determined to cause another stir on board? I am 100 per cent convinced that even a blind reader could perceive that your biased and fully loaded rifle was well targeted at the Nollywood actress from the very beginning of your report. My dear journalist (the almighty one with the ability to make and kill the career that was given by God), what happened to being objective and giving equal space to all sides in your news gathering?
So the best you could do to justify your false report was to hide the identity of the Vanguard reporter by concluding thus: “A quarrel ensued between herself and a Lagos based female journalist, which caused the actress to loose [sic] her temper in a manner that attracted the attention of everyone on board. But for the fact that she was on board, the visibly angry Chioma would have done the unexpected.
She claimed that the journalist was rude to her, adding that most painfully, she “called me Igbo bitch and all that’. I wouldn’t blame her because AMAA brought us together. I can conveniently pay her salary,” she fumed. Who cares!”
Now would you really like to know who cares? AY cares! And yes I was on that same flight like many other industry people including a good number of foreigners who flew in to be a part of AMAA 2013.
The poor Chioma only succeeded in getting her multiple visa of becoming a “lousy bitch” when Yemisi was brushing through the president of Eko International Film Festival, Mr. Hope Obioma Opara. She was obviously in a hurry to make the exit when the flight touched ground. All Chioma said to her was “take it easy they are yet to open the exit door”.
She brushed her way through to two other ladies who sat in front; the next word that came out of her mouth was “lousy Igbo girls”. Apparently, Chioma heard what she said and asked “did you just refer to me as a Lousy Igbo girl? The best response from your Yemisi was “what if I did?” (I am so sure she wouldn’t ask an Angelina Jolie or a Kim Kardashian that same question if she were to be on the same flight with any of them).
Perhaps she would have started twitting immediately, saying “AMAA things…. Kim just asked me to take it easy, they are yet to open the exit door. Wow wow wow 2013 my year of exit opening doors”). But definitely not to a Nollywood multiple awards winning happily married actress with kids. Chioma Akpotha, Grace Ama, and Nollywood producer Chinwe Egwuagu were still busy playing catch-up with Yemisi when she went on target again like the Boston Bombers to launch another verbal bullet.
This time she called them ‘LOUSY BITCHES’.
Chioma Akpotha managed to get off the bomb scene through the help of some of us who were on hand to stop the detonation of further bombs by Yemisi. Not even knowing she was a journalist from The Vanguard Newspapers, Chioma said “I will allow my God to fight you. It’s even possible that it is an Igbo person that is paying your salary. I wouldn’t blame you because AMAA brought us together. I am sure that I can convincingly pay your salary”.
For your information, Chioma Akpotha did not deserve all she got from your colleague ‘Yemisi’, whom you have proudly disguised or baptized to become a Lagos based Journalist. Who knows? Maybe by tomorrow “Miss Lagos based Journalist” could go through another baptism of fire to become “According to a reliable source”, all in the name of bringing down a fellow creation to the excitement of your colleague who ought to go to God and ask for forgiveness.
I hope she did not forget to let you into the corrective measures I gave to her? I am not a fan of anyone with uncultured attitude and public display of visible arrogance. Kindly ask her to remind you, so that I will not fail to be on your list of the next set of career-killing candidates. Or should I tell you the opinion of others concerning Yemisi on that same flight?
I guess there won’t be any need for that, because I am very sure of us having many more LOUSY BITCHES cut across the Igbo, Yoruba, Hausa, Ghanaians, South Africans and Americans on that AMAA flight. I would intentionally skip the question of the speedy hibernation in tribal cocoons, which is indeed unfortunate even as we try to push for a more detribalized mindset. (Please don’t mistake me for an Igbo man or take it that I am fighting for my “IGBO LOUSY BITCHES”. I am a full-blooded Yoruba Man like Yemisi)

Finally, my dear Madam Yemisi, kindly permit me to point out that contrition is a sign of strength, not weakness. To my “Amiable honorable I must defend my colleague till death”, I would like to plead with you in your capacity as a widely followed public reporter, to kindly grant objectivity its rightful place in your reports.
‘A lie can travel halfway around the world before the truth has a chance to get its pants on.’ But three things cannot be long hidden: the sun, the moon, and the truth. May we bear in mind that the Internet and social media have come to stay. We now have millions of followers who would at least hear our own side of the story before we are judged or criticised.

Ini Edo’s Marriage In Trouble?

According to Global News magazine; in a typical African society like ours, there are certain norms and behaviour expected of married women, and there are those looked upon as taboos especially when the women are not in company of their husbands. It is therefore surprising that more than three years after she tied the knot, Ini Edo Ehiagwina is still of the belief that she is still that explosive single lady.
These days, Ini Edo has been caught behavingmore irresponsibly than when she was still a spinster.
The plump dark-skinned actress who got married to Philip Ehiagwina, a US-based Nigerian divorcee has not come to terms threeyears into her marriage that she’s actually married, as she has at several times be sighted very odd hours at clubs in drunken state.
The Calabar-born actress had reduced her club life to the barest minimum immediately she got married, but her recent appearance atclubs is raising suspicions that all may not be too well with her marriage. She was sighted atClub 10, Victoria Island in Lagos on the March 28, around 1a.m. and the state she was found in was not befitting a married woman. Sporting a black mini gown with white collar, Ini Edo arrived at the club dead drunk; she was in such a drunken state that she could not stand upright and could only stagger to her seat.
Those around could not help but comment that the Nollywood actress might have just rediscovered her appetite for booze as she would not leave until she had soaked herself in alcohol.
They were wondering aloud as to the reason she decided to plunge herself backinto a habit she worked so hard to get out of initially. It is not new that Ini Edo was a club and booze freak while she was single, but in her bid to launch herself into the married class, she had put a stop to the kind of life shewas known for as a spinster and the return to the lifestyle may mean the rumour that all is not well with the marriage may after all not be unfounded.
Philip her husband who is based in the United States of America, has of late not been regularin the country and this may be adding strain to the union, with Ini Edo knowing fully well her husband’s prowess with women, a reason she had fought many ladies before and after their wedding to stay off her man.
It is no secret how she was able to win the man from his first marriage to Ruth Okoro, how she had to fight a female journalist she thought was getting too close to the man before the marriage and how she warned several of her Nollywood friends to stay off her man after themarriage proper. And his continuous stay in America may have forced so many thoughts into her mind, which could be the reason she’s back to her reckless self.
It was even alleged that her inability to conceive after three years of marriage may also be mounting pressure on her relationshipas it is suspected that the husband’s family has started raising eyebrows. Ini Edo and Philip tied the nuptial knots in 2009 in the United States of America after their traditionalmarriage in 2008.
Her failure to have an issue was initially said to be due to Ini Edo’s work and the husband residing abroad but three years down the line, tongues have started wagging and this may be having its own effect on the actress.

Stella Damasus Snatches Her Fellow Actress Husband?!! See Her Response.

Beautiful Nollywood actress and business woman, Stella Damasus has been trending in the news for the wrong reason. I was monitoring the saga as I travelled from Abuja to Lagos on Thursday.

The gist is that Stella has succeeded in snatching her friend and colleague, Doris Simeons' husband, Daniel Ademinokan. But is that the whole truth? See what Stella said about the saga below:
"I have Been trending for the past two days now. Day one was about people wishing me well and praying for me on my birthday. Day two is now filled with gossip, scandals and all sorts, but that is as far as the so called journalists and bloggers are concerned. As far as I am concerned I had a blast on my birthday and I will not allow other human beings steal my joy regardless.
"I choose to enjoy my life because I know I deserve it. Nobody went through my own trying times with me and I did not go through any with others.
When God decides to bless me, turn my mourning to dancing, turn my tears to laughter and turn my anger to happiness, no man on earth can change it or spoil it.
"Truth is, I laughed when I saw some of the blogs and websites quoting and saying things they know absolutely nothing about. Writing things they have heard without concrete evidence, ghosts that cannot show their faces and ask direct questions. But they believe and think that they can wake up one day and decide people's fate and destiny.
"Unfortunately they are made to feel important because people hate to read positive things and achievements, but give them juicy gossip and all of a sudden you become the most popular writer who has gist on everybody.
"I realized that when I write blogs and articles about important information, encouragement, education and positive things, only twenty percent out of a hundred actually read it and leave comments. The other eighty percent jump at the gossip and scandals and then start to ask me stupid questions. These are people who have not communicated with me in ages but all of a sudden they feel the need to profess undying friendship and a listening ear. The fact that they believe I have the time or energy to respond to the most trivial issues baffles me.
"Let me repeat myself in case some of these people missed it. "I really do not care what you say or write, the truth is who God has blessed no man can curse" , and if you believe that trying to turn a wonderful birthday into a global gossip game will make me feel bad then I am so sorry this Stella is not as stupid as you think"
