Is “Dirty Laundry” a Promotion Strategy By Kelly Rowland?

Call this a hate post, but artistes over the years have always involved themselves in different marketing strategies to sell records, usually  a few months or weeks to the release of their album, it is usually sometimes by way of controversies in form of feuds or beefs or a sometimes a sudden announcement by way of revealing a mind blowing fact the media never knew. Of course i am not going to mention names.

Before i digress further, Kelly Rowland has since the release of  her controversial single “Dirty Laundry” been getting a lot of media buzz. Infact all the interviews she has been on since the release of the song have featured her discussing the message of the song. This is against the backdrop of her upcoming album “Talk Good Game”  which is set to be released a few weeks from now.
You will all agree with me that the sudden awareness she has created to the public regarding her relationship with an abusive un-named man, who tried to severe the bonds of her relationship with Beyonce and the previous messages that her friends had attempted to pass to her via Destiny’s Child songs like “Girl” and  ”Bad Habit” is all a tad bit suspicious and could all be in anticipation of her album set to be released 18th of this month
The singer never actually mentioned any of these personal wars before. Though she now claims to be better for the experience, we should at least see proof, and why didn’t she attempt to get help from any domestic abuse centers, Why is she telling us now?. The fact of these fresh revelations are pretty obvious though, as  the media buzz is currently creating that extra push to build up anticipation of her album. It feels like a subtle version of Rihanna’s Rated R following her Chris Brown Fiasco at that time.
Kelly I love you but you can’t just feed the media anything you want honey,  I would sure  love to see some receipts
