Our First Lady, Mrs. Patience Jonathan's adopted mother has died in a road accident at Elele, Rivers State, on her way to Bayelsa State.
Although details of the crash are still sketchy, the police and the Federal Road Safety Commission in Rivers State have not confirmed the incident, sources close to the family say the woman died in the crash that happened at about 6pm yesterday.
Her remains have also been deposited at Kpaima Mortuary, at Elechi Beach, Diobu, Port Harcourt.
The first lady was said to have adopted Mrs. Iwari-Oba, popularly called Sisi as her mother since she lost hers at an early age.
