We bless God! 2. Who is Melvin Oduah? State, home town, birthday, family, educational bkground... Melvin Oduah is a young, God fearing, fun loving and dedicated young man from Asaba in Delta state. Born on the 28th day of june! From a family of 6. Which is ma mum, dad, 3 siblings and i. We are actuall 2 set of twins! I av a twin sis. And my younga. Bro n sis r twins as well. Graduated from uniport in 2007 where i studied pure n industrial chemistry. Then i went on to do post graduate as LASU. 3. Why Ultimate search? Well, i was inspired by a friend! And i decided 2 take up the challenge! 4. What was your reactions like when you did not win GUS? No one will feel good wen he/she doesn't win. But i took it dat i wasn't destined 2 win. So i moved on. 5. How come you metamorphosised? Now Melvin acts, Presents, Models, is this because you did not win GUS and you wanna try your luck elsewhere? Entertainment is what i always wanted to do! I was already modelling even b4 i went 4 GUS. So the fact dat i dint win dint stop me from goin ahead to wat i wanted to do. 6. Tell me about your experience as the First runner up of Mr Nigeria. Then why are you always getting first runner up in all competitions? Would you call it coincidence? Mr Nigeria was a cool experience. Was quite unfortunate dat i finished as the 1st runner up yet again. Like i said before! Its destiny! Wat is urs is urs. And wat is not urs is definitely not urs.
7.How many movies do you have to ur credit? And how many brands have you modelled for? I have featured in various movies. The latest was true citizens! A Diamond groove production. It was a wonderful production where i was on set with the likes of Uti, Alex, Brian, Ken, Vitalis and a host of oda good actors n actresses! I have also done modelling jobs with so many different brands. 8.How would you describe your choice of music? And your style of acting? And what makes melvin special from others? I listen 2 all genre. But more of hip hop n RnB. My style of acting depends on the particular role am playing in a production. Melvin is different from others cos i put in so much dedication in anitin i choose 2 do! And i put God 1st all the time. 9. Who is or are your role model(s)? My dad. 10. If you are not modelling/acting,what would you have been doing? Establishing my own business. Which i'll still do anyway. Working 2wards dat as well. 11. Do you even relax at all? How? Of course. I love 2 relax and av fun. Go out With friends and families. I love football as well. Dats also one of my best forms of relaxing. Watch a match/matches with friends and/or family. 12. Let' s go a lil bit personal...what's your relationship status? Who's the lucky girl? If you are not in any relationship state Y? Am not in any @ d moment. And dere's no reason 4 dat. Love could come @ anitime. 13. What do you want to be remembered for? The impact that i've bin able 2 make in ppl's lives. 14. How do you cope with your female fans? It has never bin a problem. And it will never be a problem. I cope with them quite well.
15. Where do you see yourself in 5years time? Man proposes and God disposes. If u had asked me dat Q 5 yrs ago, i won't av told u dat i'd b where i am 2day. Its just 2 continue 2 remain focused, kip working hard, pursuing ur dreams! And putting God 1st in everything u do so he can guide u tru! But what i can tell u is dat am gonna grow bigger in the entertainment world. 16. Dress wise, what will you not be caught dead wearing? Skirts 17. Most embarrassing moment? I've had quite a number of them. But the one i can remember most was falling into a deep gutter where a lotta ppl were gathered. DAMN!!! 18. Happiest moment? A lotta dem as well. But errrr, it should b Wen i was selected 2 participate in GUS. Yup! Dat was one hell of a happy moment 19. Any awards yet? If yes, state some. Yup! NMAA (Nigerian Models Achievers Awards) 2010. For the most promising model of the year. Tava awards for my act in a sitcom(Happy family). Mr Trim n Fit (STV MR NIGERIA AWARDS) 20. What's your take about nudity in musical videos? Then Nudity in nollywood movies? Well, our culture frowns @ it a lil. And we av 2 mindful of that fact wen we're shooting! But i believe dat every director/production has a concept dat he wants 2 execute in the best possible way! And i don't rili av much of a problem with it as long as u r passing the rite message across in the rite way and it doesn't make the viewers and artists lose their morals! 21. If you receive an award who are the first 3 people you will dedicate it to? God, Family, production involved! 23. On a scale of 100, what would you rate our entertainment industry? Well, some aspects av grown quite well indeed, some aspects are growing quite well and some aspects still nids some work 2 b done!......Having said all dat, i'll say 67percent 24.
