Reports from the Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport, Abuja, say over 70 flights are currently being delayed due to power failure.
The situation has left many travellers stranded and frustrated as several planes have been unable to take off.
opecareem's blog gathered that the situation has lasted for over three hours with no explanation from the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, FAAN, and other relevant authorities.
Most parts of the nation’s capital have been in darkness for at least five days.
