According to an impeccable source close to the actress who prefers to remain anonymous, the couple are now separated owing to issues they've been facing in the marriage.


"They started having issues not long after their wedding ceremony on Saturday 26,May 2012. But let me tell you the truth, Funke doesn't want anyone to know, but as it is now, the husband himself has gone on facebook to expose it. Funke Akindele's husband had earlier shared the news of their separation on his Facebook page and we thought it was the hand-work of hackers until we got the above confirmation from our source.

This is what the husband wrote on Facebok: "It's with heavy heart that am announcing the separation of me nd ma wife Mrs olufunke akindele, we've both agreed to go our separate ways coz of irreconcilable differences. We still best of friends nd we 4ever remain gud friends."

The man deleted it not long after and later added: "Am doing just fine, gettn along without u,don't need u anymore in ma life.u d greatest mistake av made in recent time."

We also gathered that they will be heading to court soon for proper divorce.
